Our activities are designed to create a safe and encouraging environment where participants can share ideas, experiences, and engage in conversations.
Klub Ada was born out of a desire to connect women in a field where we are often a minority, which brings unique challenges and dilemmas.
Because of these experiences, we often feel as if we don't belong in this space. With our activities, we want to emphasize that technology is a place where we are welcome and where our voices matter.
We found inspiration in Ada Lovelace — a pioneer of computing, mathematician, writer, and the first programmer.
In the 19th century, she wrote the first algorithm for Charles Babbage’s Analytical Engine, the predecessor of the modern computer. Ada Lovelace is proof that women have been shaping technology from the very beginning, and her impact continues to inspire us today as we build the future together.
